While I have enjoyed all the Wild Feast meals & all are yummy, the Porcini Mushroom Risotto is my favorite. I like it topped with cooked fish.

My husband and I take this along on camping trips and it turns out great every time. When camping, I "cheat" by omitting the first step (sauteing chopped onion) and simply add the product to water and wine, bring to a boil and then simmer (stirring frequently and adding more liquid if necessary). Turns out great on our little gas portable stove. Of course at home I follow the directions. I sometimes add other ingredients, like fresh mushrooms, chopped red pepper, etc. It's very versatile! We love it!
The risotto is very tasty, however I do notice that the mushrooms and sauce is quite lumpy when first put into the fluid. This is different than then the other brands I use.
Used this risotto to make arancini balls in an air fryer. The risotto stuck together really well when I rolled the balls, dipped them in egg and panko bread crumbs. They were crispy and delicious!
