This hearty soup combines the nutty goodness of Northern Wild Rice with a delicious blend of hand-harvested, fire-dried wild mushrooms. True wild rice and wild mushrooms are not farmed or cultivated, so they’ve got more flavour and more nutrients. The rice is sprouted so all you do is add a couple of staple ingredients for a quick, fabulous soup that serves 4.

Ours is so easy to make and so tasty. Add contents of packaged to 3/4 cup of water and 3/4 cream (or dairy substitute). Bring to a boil and whisk constantly over high heat for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Let sit 3 mins, and it’s ready to serve over potatoes, pasta, veg, or meat. Makes 1.5 cups.

Unlike most grains, Untamed Feast Northern Wild Rice grows naturally. It is not planted or paddy grown, nor has it been hybridized to produce a high yield. It is harvested exclusively from the lakes and rivers of the Canadian Boreal forests where long summer days give rise to a premium grain that is broader, longer, and richer in hue than other wild rice.
